For births in Fiji, give the time on the birth certificate and the town. Fiji used daylight saving (UTC+13) from 1 November 1998 to 28 February 1999, from 7 November 1999 to 27 February 2000, and again every summer from 29 November 2009 to 17 January 2021, usually from October or November into January. A birth in those months may be recorded an hour ahead of standard time, so give the time exactly as written and the offset in force on that date is applied during calculation.
